... these days Kirra still wakes up a lot at night to nurse - every 60-90 min. although we generally try to have her in her cradle (which she isn't very fond of at this point), after Mark gets up at 4:30 I take her to bed with me and fall asleep while she nurses. Even though I don't sleep too well, not being able to move at all, I am usually so exhausted that this aspect doesn't matter too much. Then around 6am Kai tip toes into the room and asks for his morning coacoa ... after which he is so sweet to let me sneak back into bed and get a bit more sleep, while he plays quietly with the trains in his room or looks at books. And I must say that waking up to Kirra's coos and sweet smiles right next to my face is precious and most definitely a highlight of my day. sadly, our routine changes every few days lately. So please, if i could, i would like to have this one stay for a while!
... Kirra wacht noch immer recht oft in der Nacht auf zum stillen - so alle 60-90 min. Und obwohl wir prinzipiell versuchen, dass sie in ihrer Wiege schläft (welches ihr gar nicht gefällt) nehme ich sie oft mit ins Bett nachdem Mark es um 4:30 Uhr verlässt und schlafe beim Stillen ein. Obwohl mir hinterher alles weh tut vom still liegen, bin ich zu diesem Zeitpunkt meistens so erschöpft, dass es dann doch den Schlaf wert ist. Gegen 6 kommt Kai dann ins Zimmer geschlichen und fragt nach seinem Kakao und ist dann so lieb mich für ein Weilchen noch einmal ins Bett schlüpfen zu lassen, während er leise mit seiner Eisenbahn spielt, oder in seinen Büchern blättert. Ich muss zugeben, dass ich gerne von Kirra's erzählen geweckt werde, um dann ihr süsses Lächeln zu sehen. Da fällt mir das aufwachen gleich etwas leichter. Wo sich unsere Routine leider so ziemlich wöchentlich ändert, möchte ich doch bitte, das diese ein Weilchen anhält!
