... the evening we iced the cookies for Anne's daughter Tamara's bridal shower
... der abend an dem wir die plaetzchen fuer die brautparty von Anne's tocher Tamara dekorierten

... there were a lot of cookies to be decorated and wouldn't you know it, i got left in charge of the forty odd bicycles
... das waren jede menge plaetzchen zu dekorieren, und mir wurden ausgerechnet die vierzig fahrraeder ueberlassen
... but in the end i got to do a couple cakes and wedding gowns also - so it does pay to work quickly
